Xie Jie Architects (x.j.a) is a Shanghai and Sydney based international architectural practice, founded in 2020. We recently finished a 2000 sqm experimental contemporary art museum in Wenzhou and a 100 sqm renovation apartment in Shanghai. We work on various scale of projects from small interior to single building and 500 units social housing. While in each specific project, our practice aims to unconceal new visions for our living environment from the existing context.
Xie Jie is the founder of Xie Jie Architects (x.j.a). He studied architecture at Tongji University CAUP and at Harvard University GSD, and is a Registered Architect in Australia (NSW11045) since 2019. Xie Jie has designed and developed cultural, residential and public architecture projects across Asia Pacific and in North America regions. Besides his global practices, his academic activities include design critics and guest lecturer for Harvard University, Syracuse University, University of New South Wales, and Tongji University.
